Data Deletion Instructions

You can ask SciverraTech for Integrated Scientific and Engineering Solutions (“SciverraTech”, “we” or “us”) to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time, free of charge. This page explains how — including for data we receive through Meta, such as Facebook Login and the WhatsApp Business Platform. For what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
1. How to request deletion
Email info@sciverra.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:
- your full name and the email address or phone number you used with us;
- for WhatsApp conversations: your WhatsApp phone number, including the country code, and the name of the business you were messaging;
- for business accounts: your business name and, if you have it, your WhatsApp Business Account ID or Meta business portfolio ID;
- whether you want all of your data deleted, or only specific data.

2. What we delete

| Someone who messaged a business that uses our WhatsApp services | Your WhatsApp number and profile name, the messages and media we process for that business, and the related delivery records. Because the business controls your conversation, we tell it about your request and delete the data we hold for it unless it has a legal reason to keep it. |
| A business customer that connected through Facebook Login or Meta’s Embedded Signup | Your account and profile data, access tokens, WhatsApp Business Account and phone number data, message templates, and the conversation history stored in our systems. |
| A website visitor, tools user or someone who contacted us | Your contact-form, email and chat messages, your tools account and saved results, and the logs linked to you. |
3. Remove our access in your Meta settings
If you connected your Facebook account or WhatsApp Business Account to our services, you can also remove our access at any time:
- On Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Go to Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
- Find the SciverraTech app and select Remove.
Admins of a Meta business portfolio can also remove the app in Meta Business Suite → Settings → Integrations → Connected apps. Menu names may vary slightly.
Removing access stops us from receiving any new data from Meta. To delete the data we already hold, also send us a request as described in section 1.
4. What happens after you ask
- We confirm receipt within 7 days and give you a reference number for your request.
- We may ask you to confirm your identity — for example by replying from the email address or WhatsApp number concerned — so that we never delete someone else’s data.
- We delete the data from our live systems within 30 days of verifying your request. Deleted data is removed from our rolling backups within a further 30 days.
- We email you to confirm when deletion is complete. For WhatsApp conversation data, we also inform the business concerned.
5. What we may keep
We may keep limited information where the law requires or allows it — for example invoices and accounting records required by Egyptian tax law, information needed to establish or defend legal claims, and a record that we handled your request. We keep it only as long as necessary and will tell you if anything is kept and why. Anonymised statistics that no longer identify you are not affected.
6. Data held by Meta and WhatsApp
Deleting data from our systems does not delete data held by Meta or WhatsApp — for example your WhatsApp account or the chat history on your phone. To manage that data, use WhatsApp’s and Meta’s own settings and see the WhatsApp Privacy Policy and the Meta Privacy Policy. To stop receiving messages from a business, you can block it in WhatsApp at any time.
